MRI undertakes research throughout the developing world. Our current projects include:
audience research in Sudan and the Kakuma refugee camps of northern Kenya on behalf of the Middle East Reformed Fellowship and Feba Radio
audience research in Uganda on behalf of the Church of Uganda, the dioceses of Lango and South Rwenzori, and Christian radio stations to determine how media can be used to bring reconciliation to post-conflict environments to re-establish churches in the aftermath of civil insurrection, and to plan outreach programs
audience research in the Democratic Republic of Congo on behalf of the Back to God Hour to enhance its programming in French-speaking Africa
audience research on behalf of YASKI, FEBC and Words of Hope on the islands of Sulawesi and Samarinda to determine how well existing radio programs are meeting the needs of those within the propagation contours of both FM and short-wave radio stations
audience research on behalf of 3XM in Cameroon and Ivory Coast to determine how well its TV programs are meeting the needs of viewers, how effective its HIV/AIDS program for young people is, and how well its family program is accomplishing its mission
audience research in Niger on behalf of the Evangelical Church of Niger and Words of Hope Niger to determine the impact and effectiveness of its radio programming
